We develop, build and operate direct air capture (DAC) machines which capture CO₂ directly from the air. The captured carbon dioxide is removed from the air by safely storing it underground, permanently.

Your mission

Job description
  • Your mission at Climeworks is to drive our financial planning processes in support of our business objectives. You will work closely with the business finance team to provide management reports to the Executive Team and Board of Directors. In addition, you will act as the finance contact for the Corporate Functions Legal, Finance, HR, IT and Facility.  

  • You own and shape the monthly management reporting process, designing, preparing, and distributing financial reports and dashboards (PowerBI) to the Executive Team and Board of Directors while integrating financial and non-financial metrics to track performance against strategic initiatives and targets. 

  • You oversee and manage the annual financial planning cycle, including the Three-Year Plan, Budget, and Mid-year Forecasts, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to our planning systems, in support of the business and finance objectives.  

  • You maintain ownership of all planning data (“single source of truth”) in the forecasting system and align the organization behind financial targets. In this role, you will drive the expansion of data driven decision-making across the organization.  

  • You act as the Finance Business Parter of our corporate functions Legal, Finance, HR, IT and Facility and are the principal finance contact person of the respective C-level executives. 

  • As part of a small finance team, you will get the chance to contribute to projects and initiatives as part of your career development and depending on your interests.  

 

Your story

Requirements
  • You hold a master's degree in finance, business management, or a related field. 

  • You have a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or controlling, management reporting, or consulting. 

  • You possess strong financial and management reporting skills and feel comfortable presenting financial figures to C-level executives and management teams. 

  • You are a highly structured and organized individual who demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high quality and consistent management reporting. 

  • You are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge in PowerBI or LucaNet would be a strong plus.  

  • You display an interest in actively contributing and shaping the Climeworks business finance function as part of an internationally expanding scale-up.  

  • You are fluent in English.
