We develop, build and operate direct air capture (DAC) machines which capture CO₂ directly from the air. The captured carbon dioxide is removed from the air by safely storing it underground, permanently.

Your mission

Job description
  • Your mission is to grow and scale strategic partnerships with the US Healthcare & Consumer goods sector, build a high-performing team, actively shape Climeworks’ offering and value proposition, and position Climeworks as the leading CDR company to our prospects & stakeholders.

Sales gameplan & execution:

  • You develop and execute a comprehensive roadmap & game plan to rapidly and sustainably win key healthcare and consumer goods customers, aligned with Climeworks’ ambitious goals.

  • You adapt the global strategy for the US market by addressing key customer pain points, and develop innovative solutions to build long-term partnerships when required.

Team leadership & development:

  • You cultivate a strong entrepreneurial and team-oriented culture, foster collaboration with the global and cross-functional units, and lead by example through the management of your own client portfolio, setting a high standard for the team.

  • You cascade down clear objectives and OKRs for the team, monitoring and driving progress.

  • You coach and guide a team of 2 Strategic Partnership Managers (SPMs), helping them design winning strategies and plans, prioritize their accounts, and enhance their sales and negotiation skills.

Build customer relationship & forge industry alliances:

  • You build relationships with C-level at our top US prospects and leverage your network to access key decision-makers.

  • You develop a network of alliances and influencers to advance the funnel and position Climeworks as the strongest industry partner.

  • You drive thought leadership by speaking at major industry events and representing the company.

Your story

Requirements


  • You hold a degree from a top university and ideally have knowledge or expertise in sustainability topics.
  • You have proven experience in enterprise sales (10+ years) and a strong track record in driving rapid growth within the healthcare industry (eg: Healthcare/Pharma account management for large Tech companies such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle).
  • You have successfully closed large and complex enterprise contracts with key stakeholders, including C-level executives (e.g., CFO, CPO), and possess a well-established network in the healthcare industry.
  • You are an inspiring, self-motivated leader recognized for your strong negotiation, communication, and people management skills (min 2-3 direct reports in the past), enabling you to effectively lead teams and foster strong business relationships.
  • You are an inclusive and humble team player, with a proven ability to foster collaboration, active listening and drive team success.
  • You bring experience in carbon markets, which is considered a plus.


Disclaimer:  At Climeworks, we carefully consider market indicators to determine the compensation model for our positions. The salary range has been set by factors such as function, career level, and location and therefore may vary. The US base salary for this full-time position is typically $200,000-$230,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We use the recruitment process to determine your career level, job-related skills, and depth of experience to make an informed and fair salary offer.
